Man fatally shot on Lake Street

Blytheville police are investigating a homicide in the 700 block of Lake Street Thursday afternoon. Lawless Kennedy, 49, died from an apparent gunshot wound, according to Capt. Brown pushing forward with Williams Park project

Blytheville parks director Elroy Brown told the city council's parks and recreation committee Thursday afternoon that by its next meeting he would have all the specs necessary for them to approve funding out of the parks CD to help with a matching grant for improvements at Williams Park.
