It's hard to believe Easter is less than a week away, until you drive through town and see all the spring flowers and flowering trees in full bloom.

The Blytheville First Christian (Disciples of Christ) Church will hold a Service of Light at 7 a.m. Easter morning (Sunday) in the Blytheville Community Prayer Garden, located just west of the church's fellowship hall on Walnut Street. The entire community is invited to attend the 30-minute service, and to join church members for breakfast in Carney Hall immediately after. Blytheville police are investigating an attempted robbery Sunday night at Jordan's Quick Stop on South Division.
