The Blytheville Professional Firefighters reminds residents to change their smoke detector batteries when changing their clocks for daylight saving time, which begins Sunday.

So Thursday was a first, at least in the nearly five years that I've been doing this job ... a snow day for the CN. We still managed to get some things posted on the website, but the office was closed and everyone got to stay home.
