Irene Burk, an employee of Blytheville High School, was given a special recognition during the Lights of the Delta Pageant. She was honored for her loyalty and assistance as a volunteer of the pageant ever since the Lights of the Delta Pageant began. Most school employees take off during the school break, but she has been a constant to make sure that everything out the high school is prepared for visitors from all over the state.
