Group seeks to promote Cultural Heritage Tourism

A group of Blytheville citizens representing a number of local entities met last week to look at what it might take to build appreciation and support for Cultural Heritage Tourism in and around Blytheville. The purpose behind the meeting -- gaining local supports for heritage tourism --stemmed from a proposal made in May by the Blytheville Chamber of Commerce asking for $280,300 of the parks and recreation tax revenue to use at the Ritz Civic Center, The Delta Gateway Museum and the Greyhound Bus Station to help make these city-owned historic properties bigger players in Cultural Heritage Tourism.. ...
