Storm does only minor damage

The storms that rolled through the area late Sunday and early Monday brought with them rain, thunder and severe lightning. This tree, located on the Gosnell school campus, was struck by lightning during the storm. Entergy customer service manager Russell Harris said the storm affected one of the company's circuits leaving a couple hundred customers out of power for a short time with scattered minor outages after that. County board agrees to purchase new police cars
