Mrs. Latonya Joyce Toombs Wyatt of Paragould, formerly of Blytheville, departed this life Friday afternoon in Paragould, at the age of 42.

Mr. Daniel Leon Robertson, 91, of Blytheville, passed from this life Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Danny Joe McHaffey, 58, of Blytheville, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at his home.

Mrs. Eva Ruth Gunter Goff, 92, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at her home.

Reva Dell Brothers, 88, of Blytheville, went to be with her Lord Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at the South Ridge Assisted Living facilities in Heber Springs.

U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor will be in Blytheville Monday, serving as the speaker for the monthly luncheon of the Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dale Hinson and Linda Musser gave the new Jeri-Lin Donuts sign a "look-over" before preparing to put it up Monday at Jeri-Lin's new location.

There will be contested races this November for all three Blytheville City Council seats, and in two of the three races in Gosnell, following the closing of candidate filing Friday afternoon.
