Former BHS star Smith now offensive coordinator for Tigers

Smith, a 2005 graduate of BHS and a former player at the University of Central Arkansas and Henderson State, has been a wide receiver and special teams coach the past two seasons at Obion County Central (Tenn.). He also assisted in offensive game planning and play calling for an offense which put up record numbers both seasons and won 15 games, including its first playoff win in many years. ...

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Survivor Chairmen want to thank everyone that came out and supported our precious survivors. It was a beautiful night that truly gave "hope" that a cure for this cruel disease can be found. We wish to give special thanks to the following people and groups that donated time and money to make the night very special for the survivors: Harry Meyers for the barbecue, Cobb funeral Home for the water and balloons, Beth Fitzgerald for the beautiful cake, the Relay teams for items for the "goodie bags," the FFA students and Nucor scholarship winners for stuffing the bags and doing anything else they were asked to do, the Cars and Cycles for a Cure, and especially to Linda Peterson, Relay chairman, for the great job she did to make the Relay a success.. ...
