GOSNELL -- With 1:55 to play in the first half Thursday night, the Valley View Lady Blazers led by 17 over the Gosnell Lady Pirates. Gosnell scored the last six points of the half, thanks to back-to-back three-pointers from Shanice McClain and Deneisha McBride, and took that momentum into the third period. Pirates jockey for position in district tourney

"Senior Night" festivities will follow the junior high game followed by the senior high contest. The Pirates (14-9, 6-6 3-4A) are currently in 6th place in the 3-4A with two games to play. The Pirates can finish as high as fourth or as low as sixth.
