In 1956, I was stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga. At that time I met a lovely light-haired girl who was in the WACS at the same base. We fell in love and for several months we reveled in that love. However, as a sergeant in Co. 133 Signal Co., I was sent TDY to Puerto Rico and then on from there. For three months, I was not allowed to receive or send mail because of the kind communications I was doing. We lost connect with each other...
