Blytheville teachers to get bonuses via stimulus

The Blytheville School District is receiving an additional $578,603 in funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act through its Education Jobs Fund Program. Assistant Superintendent Sandy Hughey explained the funds to the Blytheville School Board Monday night. The funds are being paid to schools who participated in the stimulus program and are based on last year's third-quarter average daily membership.
