Car events coming to town

The Cars and Cycles Against Cancer event is slated for Saturday, June 6, at Walker Park in Blytheville. Proceeds will benefit The American Cancer Society. ARMOREL- The Armorel School District will begin taking bids for the high school and elementary school building projects beginning May 28. At the monthly meeting of the Armorel School Board Monday, Superintendent Mike Hunter said Garey and Fowler Associates will be on hand at the administration office on May 28 for a "pre-bid" meeting to discuss the plans with any prospective bidders.
